C. Central America to c. tropical South America;
Ex. s. Mexico (Chiapas) s. to Panama, Colombia and w. Ecuador on the Pacific slope and on the e. slope of the Andes s. in e. Ecuador, c. and e. Peru, n. and e. Bolivia to Venezuela, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana and s. Brazil (nw. Parana, Mato Grosso and Sao Paulo).
