Amazonian South America;
E. of the Andes in e. Colombia to 1500m in the Macarena Mountains and Vaupes to s. Venezuela (Sanariapo across the Orinoco from s. Vichada), Guyana, Surinam, Guiana s. through Amazonian Brazil n. of the Amazon in Para and s. of the Amazon only w. of the Rio Madiera in Amazonas, Acre, and ex. w. Rondonia, e. Peru and c. Bolivia.
