C. e. Africa;
Sc. and e. Ethiopia and Somalia s. to ex. e. Uganda, Kenya (n., e. and s. of the Kenyan highlands, mainly e. of Rift Valley around Lake Turkana, Lake Magadi and Lake Natron, and w. of Rift only on dry e. Loita plains) and c. Tanzania.
