Morocco; Across nc. Africa through ec. to sc. Africa; Sw. Arabia;
One main population and two small isolated populations;
(1) Sw. Morocco.
(2) S. Mali, Burkina Faso, s. Niger, n. Nigeria, Chad and c. Sudan.
(3) Sw. Mauritania, Senegambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Central African Republic, s. Sudan, w. and c. Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti and s. in ne. Zaire, Uganda, nw. Kenya from Lokichokio s. to Konegalei, Kerio Valley, Lake Abringo and Lake Bogoria and n. Tanzania.
(4) Sw. Arabian Peninsula (Yemen).
(5) Kenya and s. Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Angola, n. Namibia, n. and e. Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and ex. ne. South Africa (e. Transvaal and n. Natal).
