Sahel zone of Sub-Saharan Africa;
S. Mauritania, Senegambia, sw. Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Togo, Nigeria, Congo, n. Zaire, s. Chad, sw. Sudan, n. Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and possibly nw. Kenya and Tanzania.
