Senegambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, s. Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo, sw. Central African Republic, Sudan, n. and ne. Zaire, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, w. and c. Ethiopia, w. and sc. Kenya (Kenyan Highlands, Usambaras), Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique s. to n. Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe, ne. Botswana and e. South Africa (e. Transvaal, Natal and e. Cape Province).
