San Luis Potosi, Veracruz and Chiapas), Belize (Blue Hole National Park) and Guatemala (Tikal National Park) s. to Colombia (Tayrona National Park, s. to Serrania de Bando, lower Cauca Valley near Puerto Valdivia, mid-Magdalena Valley, n. slope of the Santa Marta Mountains, w. slope of Perija Mountains, Norte de Santander, w. Meta to Amazonas) and e. of the Andes in e. Ecuador and e. Peru, Venezuela (Merida, Sucre, Monagas and Delta Amacuro), Trinidad, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana, Amazonian Brazil s. to n. Mato Grosso, n. and e. Bolivia (Pando, Beni, La Paz, Santa Cruz), Paraguay and n. Argentina with recent records from w. Ecuador and nw. Peru (Tumbes).
(2) E. and s. Brazil (Bahia (Elisio Medrado), Alagoas to Rio Grande do Sul), e. Paraguay and ex. ne. Argentina (Misiones).
