(1) Mexico s. from Sinaloa and Veracruz through Central America in Belize (Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary) to Panama and Colombia in Amazonia, n. and e. Venezuela (n. of the Orinoco, n. Bolivar and Delta Amacuro), Trinidad, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana w. to e. Ecuador, e. Peru, n. and e. Bolivia (Pando, Beni, Cochabamba, Santa Cruz) and s. Brazil s. to Bahia and Sao Paulo.
(2) Paraguay, Uruguay and nc. Argentina (Jujuy, Salta, Santa Fe and Corrientes).
