E. and s. Africa;
Two populations;
Isolated population in s. and ec. Sudan and c. Ethiopia. Se. Somalia, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, w., c. and s. Kenya, Tanzania w. through c. Zaire to Gabon and s. in n. Angola to c. Namibia, Zambia, n. and e. Botswana, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, e. and c. South Africa (Transvaal, Natal and Cape Province).
