Range

C. Central America and tropical South America;
(1) S. Mexico from s. Tamaulipas, Veracruz, n. Chiapas, Yucatan Peninsula and both slopes of Oaxaca, Belize, Guatemala (Peten), e. Honduras (Mosquitia), ne. Nicaragua, nc. Costa Rica, Panama s. to c. Colombia and nw. Venezuela.
(2) S. Colombia, s. Venezuela, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana and Amazonian Brazil (Bahia (Chapada Diamantina)), e. Peru, n. and e. Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay and n. Argentina (Corrientes, Chaco and Santa Fe).
