Range

S. South America;
S. of 35°S in s. Chile s. of Talca, Cautin or perhaps Curico and s. Argentina s. of Neuquen to Tierra del Fuego.
Disperses ne. after breeding to winter n. to c. and ne. Argentina (Buenos Aires Province, Cordoba and Mendoza) and Chile (Santiago).
