Range
Greater Sundas, Sulawesi, Philippines; New Guinea, Bismarck Archipelago and n. Australia;
Fragmented distribution;
(1) In Indonesia from Sumatra (Nias Is.), Java, Borneo, Lesser Sundas (Bali, Flores, Sumba, Roti, Timor), Sulawesi (Talaud Is.) to the Philippines.
(2) New Guinea, n. Australia (Broome region of ne. Western Australia, Fitzroy River, n. Northern Territory (Kakadu National Park), n. Queensland (Lake Barrine) from the Cape York Peninsula to ex. ne. New South Wales at Grafton.
(3) Bismarck Archipelago (New Britain) and formerly New Caledonia and the Fiji Is.(?).
