Range

Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Borneo;
Fragmented distribution;
Borneo (e. Sabah, e. Sarawak, c. and e. Kalimantan (Telen River), Brunei along the Tutong and Belait Rivers), s. Sumatra (Sembilang River), Mentawai Is. and Peninsular Malaysia (Sungei Tekam Forest Reserve, Kuala Lompat and in the Taman Negara and Pahang-Johore border regions). Ex. s. Thailand (Khlong Mon, Khlong Saeng Wildlife Sanctuary, Surat Thani Province)? Movements are not known.
