(1) Iberian Peninsula through s. Europe n. to c. France, Germany, Hungary (Borzsony), Balkans, Sardinia, Sicily, Cyprus to w. Turkey.
(2) Coastal mountains of s. Spain and North Africa (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia).
(3) Crimea, ne. Turkey and nw. Iran (Caucasus).
(4) C. Asia from n. and c. Iran, Transcaspia e. to Turkestan and n. to e. Kazakhstan (s. Altai Mountains), and sw. Siberia, Afghanistan, n. Pakistan, nw. India (Kashmir), Nepal, w. China, and sw. Tibet.
