Europe including Spitsbergen, Franz Josef Land, Novaya Zemlya s. to n. British Isles, n. Scandinavia and across n. Russia and nw. Siberia.
Winters s. to n. United States and s. Europe.
(2) Iceland headwaters of Jokulsa a Dal and Jokulsa a Fljotsdal near the ne. edge of the Vatnajokull glacier and the Snaefell).
Winters in n. Scotland.
(3) Ne. Asia in ne. Siberia to Kamchatka.
Winters in c. Asia and ne. China (Manchuria).
