Range

Madagascar migrating to c. e. Africa;
Breeds in Madagascar (October to December) mostly in w. coastal region and in the Comoro Is. (Aldabra Is.).
Disperses (May to October) to s. Kenya (May to October in coastal areas and inland to Nairobi, Nakuru and Arusha NP and Ngorongoro Crater), s. Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, se. Zaire, Tanzania, e. Zambia, ne. Zimbabwe, Malawi and s. to c. Mozambique.
