Range
Se. Siberia s. to se. Asia, Sumatra and Borneo;
Breeds in ex. s. Soviet Far East (Vladivostok), China from c. Manchuria (Kirin) and Hopeh s. to Kwangtung, Kwangsi and Yunnan, w. through e. Inner Mongolia and in the Yangtze Valley to Shensi, Szechwan, nw. Kansu, and ex. e. Tsinghai and Hainan. In ne. India (Assam to Manipur in the e. Brahmaputra Valley), Bangladesh, Burma, n. Indochina and the Andaman Is.
Disperses throughout Indochina, Thailand, Malaya and the Greater Sundas (Borneo).
