Vietnam (Mekong Delta) e. to the Philippines (Bantayan, Guimara, Basilan, Bohol, Mindoro, Negros, Palawan) and the Sulu Archipelago s. to the Nicobar Is., Sumatra (Riau and Billiton Is. in the ex. se., is. in the nw.), ex. w. and e. Java, the Lesser Sundas (Flores, Timor Is.), Borneo, n. Sulawesi, Moluccas (Halmahera, Ceram), New Guinea (Kebar and Mamberamo Rivers, Irian Jaya, w. Vogelkop), Aru Is., Waigo Is., Biak Is. and Yapen Is.
(2) N. Australia (nw. Western Australia s. to Derby through n. Northern Territory (Middle Arm near Darwin) to n. and ne. Queensland at Daintree River during winter months and s. to Broad Sound.
