Ne. Western Australia w. to Broome, n. Northern Territory (Top End, Victoria River near Darwin and Caranbirini Springs in the Gulf of Carpentaria region), nw. and ne. Queensland (Cape York Peninsula s. to the Atherton Tablelands and the Burdekin River).
