(2) N. Cameroon (Adamawa Plateau), nw. Central African Republic, se. Sudan, ne. Zaire (s. to Katanga), Uganda, w. Kenya (Molo Forest and Chyulu Range), w. Rwanda, w. Burundi, nw. and n. Tanzania including Mt. Ketumbeine.
(3) Ne. Ethiopia and c. Eritrea.
(4) Angola (c. plateau from s. Cuanza Sul, to n. Moxico and s. Lunda Sul s. to n. and w. Huila), se. Zaire, s. Tanzania (Matengo highlands), n. and c. Zambia, Malawi, e. highlands of Zimbabwe and Mozambique (n. of Limpopo River).
(5) N. Kenya (Mt. Marsabit).
(6) Se. Kenya (Taita Hills) and highlands in ne. Tanzania.
(7) W. and s. Tanzania in highlands s. from Ngurus.

Non-breeding birds occur in s. Mozambique.
