(1) W. Mediterranean Basin in Portugal and Spain (Montados in the Baira Baixa region), coastal s. France and nw. Italy. Sardinia.
(2) Nw. Africa from Mauritania, Morocco, n. Algeria e. to s. Tunisia, nw. and ne. Libya.
