Himalayas to n. Indochina, and se. China. Malay Peninsula. Greater Sundas;
Fragmented distribution;
(1) Himalayas of n. and e. India, Burma, sw. China (Yunnan), Burma, nw. and ne. Thailand, and n. Laos.
(2) Hainan Is.
(3) Malaysia (peninsular Thailand), Sumatra, Java and Borneo.
