Range

Mainland of e. Asia;
Two populations;
(1) E. Siberia (s. Ussuriland), Manchuria (e. Heilungkiang, e. Kirin, e., and se. Liaoning), and Korea.
Winters in e. China (Fujian), Taiwan and n. Philippines (Batan Is., Luzon).
(2) C. and e. China from se. Kansu, s. Shensi, Shansi, Anhwei and s. Kiangsu s. to n. Szechwan, Hupeh and Chekiang).
Winters in s. and se. China, Taiwan, nw. Thailand, n. and c. Indochina, and n. Philippines.
