E. Asia and Japan;
Se. Siberia from Transbaicalia e. in n. Mongolia, n. China in n. Manchuria to s. Amurland, Ussuriland, and Sakhalin Is. s. in c. and e. China, probably Korea, and Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu).
Winters in India, Burma and n. Vietnam.
