Europe from British Isles, across Scandinavia and n. Russia to w. Siberia e. to the Altai and Yenesei River, and ex. W. China s. to France, n. Mediterranean region, Hungary (Apaj Puszta, Kiskunsag National Park), wc. Turkey, probably nw. Iran, Crimea and Caucasus to Aral Sea region, Lake Zaysan and Kazakhstan.
