(2) Formerly Egypt in the Faiyum region.
(3) Canary, Is.
(4) S. Morocco and Western Sahara s. of Tropic of Cancer.
(5) Lebanon, Syria, Israel, Jordan, and ex. ne. Egypt (Sinai).
