Range

Himalayan region;
(1) Himalayas of n. Pakistan from the Afghanistan border e. to ne. India (Kashmir to e. Arunachal Pradesh and the n. Cachar Hills), se. Tibet and sc. China (s. Tsinghai, sw. Kansu, Szechwan).
Winters in Thailand, Malaya, Indochina and Hainan Is.
(2) W. Himalayas in Afghanistan, w. Nepal and nw. India.
