E. India to se. Asia, Sumatra, and Borneo;
Five main populations;
(1) Sikkim, sw. China, ne. India (Assam, n. West Bengal), Bangladesh, s. China (s. Yunnan to Kwantung) and Burma.
(2) Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo.
(3) N. Borneo.
(4) Tioman Is., Anamba Is. and Natuna Is.
(5) Philippines (n. Luzon).
