Ne. Siberia, Alaska, and n. Canada;
(1) E. Siberia from the Kolyma River and Anadyr River to the Chukotski Peninsula, n. Alaska, and Canada (n. Yukon, n. Mackenzie, and s. Keewatin to Labrador and Newfoundland (St Pierre and Miquelon) s. to nw. British Columbia, ne. Saskatchewan, n. Manitoba and ex. nw. Ontario).
(2) Se. Canada (c. Quebec).
Winters in n. South America s. to Peru and Brazil.
