Two populations;
(1) C. and se. Alaska, w. Canada (s. Yukon, w. Mackenzie, sw. Alberta, sw. Saskatchewan), w. United States (w. and s. Montana, ne. Wyoming, sw. South Dakota, nw. Nebraska and s. in the mountains to s. California, n. and ec. Arizona, c. New Mexico) and w. Mexico (Durango, Jalisco, Zacatecas).
