Range

Himalayas, Peninsular India, and Sri Lanka to se. Asia;
Two populations;
(1) Ne. India w. in the foothills of the Himalayas to Garhwal, s. China and Burma.
(2) C. and s. India (Gujarat to Bihar).
(3) Sw. India (Kerala and Tamil Nadu) and Sri Lanka.
(4) S. Burma, n. Thailand and n. Laos.
(5) C. and s. Thailand, Cambodia and s. Vietnam.
(6) Sw. Thailand and s. Indochina.
