Se. Asia and Greater Sundas;
Four major populations;
(1) Ex. E. Bangladesh, ne. India (Assam), Burma, and nw. Thailand.
(2) S. China (s. Yunnan), ne. Thailand and n. Indochina.
(3) Se. Thailand, Cambodia, and s. Indochina.
(4) N. Malay Peninsula (sw. Thailand and se. Burma).
(5) S. Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and associated islands, n. Natuna Is. Lingga Archipelago and Bangka Is. Belitung Is.
(6) Borneo except n. mountains.
(7) Java.
