E. and s. Africa.
Single main population with a small isolate population;
(1) S. Somalia, c. and e. Kenya (Meru Forest and Chuka Forest, Mt. Kenya, and coastal areas), e. Tanzania and ne. Mozambique.
(2) Se. Zaire (Katanga), Zambia, Malawi, and n. Mozambique s. to ne. Namibia, n. Botswana, Zimibabwe, and ne. South Africa s. to e. Natal. Zaire (Katanga). Isolated population in s. Angola.
(3) Swaziland and South Africa (s. Natal, e. Transvaal, s. and e. Cape Province).
