Range
Se. Asia, Malay Peninsula, Greater Sundas and Philippines;
Fragmented distribution;
(1) S. Burma (Tenasserim s. from 12.5N), c. and s. Thailand e. to interior of s. Cambodia, and s. Vietnam.
(2) Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra including Riau Archipelago, Lingga Archipelago, Bangka Is., and Belitung Is., Java including Kangean Is., Bali, Lombok, and Sumbawa.
(4) Borneo including Maratua Is. and Karimunjawa Is. off n. coast of Java.
(4) N. and c. Philippines (Luzon, Polillo, and Mindoro to Panay, Guimaras, Negros, and Masbate).
(5) C. Philippines (Ticao, Samar, Biliran, Buad, Cebu, Olango, Camotes, Leyte, and Bohol).
(6) S. Philippines (Dinagat, Nipa, and Camiguin Sur s. to Mindanao, Basilan) and Sulu Archipelago (East Bolod and West Bolod s. to Sanga Sanga, and Bango).
Introduced in s. Sulawesi (2) Ujung Pandang and recently on Buton I;
