(1) S. Canada (sw. and e. British Columbia, c. Alberta e. to New Brunswick and c. Nova Scotia) and the United States (w. Washington, w. Oregon, n. California and e. Idaho s. to s. Texas, Gulf coast states and s. Florida and the Florida Keys) to e. Mexico.
(2) Sw. United States (n. Arizona), s. Baja, w. Mexico (Sonora, Tiburon Is. and s. in the Mexican highlands to Michoacan, Guanajuato and San Luis Potosi) s. to Nicaragua.
(3) W. United States (c. Utah).
Winters in the West Indies, Nicaragua, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana, e. Peru, n. Bolivia, n. Paraguay to se. Brazil (Bahia).
