Sahel zone, e., and sc. Africa;
Three populations;
(1) Sw. Mauritania, Senegambia e. to n. Nigeria, s. Chad, and the Nile Valley of s. and c. Sudan.
(2) Ethiopia.
(3) S. Somalia, ne. Uganda, Kenya, ne. Tanzania. S. Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, w. and s. Mozambique.
(4) S. Angola, n. Namibia, Botswana, sw. Zambia.
(5) Ne. South Africa.
