Range

C. Central America to nw. South America;
(1) Gulf lowlands of s. Mexico (Veracruz, n. Oaxaca and Chiapas) s. along the Caribbean slope of Guatemala and Nicaragua and both slopes of Costa Rica and Panama to n. Colombia.
(2) W. Colombia and nw. Ecuador.
