N. Central America to Amazonian South America and e. Brazil;
Two populations;
(1) Nw. Mexico in ex. s. Sonora, Sinaloa, w. Durango, Nayarit, Jalisco, Colima, Michoacan, Mexico.
(2) Cozumel Is.
(3) Se. Mexico in San Luis Potosi and Veracruz.
(4) Se. Mexico (Yucatan Peninsula) and Belize (Guanacaste National Park) to El Salvador.
(5) El Salvador to nw. Nicaragua.
(6) Nicaragua, Costa Rica and w. Panama.
(7) E. Panama including Coiba Is. and nw. Colombia.
(8) N. Colombia.
(9) Ne. Colombia and nw. Venezuela.
(10) W. Colombia and w. Ecuador.
(11) N. Venezuela, Trinidad, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana, Amazonian Brazil, e. Ecuador, e. Peru and n. Bolivia.
(12) Isolated population along the se. coast of Brazil (e. Bahia).
