Range

Amazonian South America;
Three populations;
(1) E. Colombia (ne. Meta) to c. Venezuela (lower Rio Apure and upper Orinocco e. to Ciudad Bolivar).
(2) E. Brazil (lower Rio Xingu and Rio Araguaya).
(3) Ne. Ecuador (Rio Napo), ex. ne. Peru (e. Loreto) to nc. Amazonian Brazil (Rio Madeira e. to Rio Tapajos).
