Andes of w. South America;
Two populations;
(1) N. Colombia (Santa Marta Mountains).
(2) Ne. Colombia and ex. nw. Venezuela (Sierra de Perija).
(3) Sw. and w. Colombia, Ecuador and n. Peru (Piura, Cajamarca, Amazonas and possibly nw. San Martin).
(4) E. Andes of Colombia.
(5) Nc. Peru (s. La Libertad, Ancash, and Huanuco).
(6) Sc. Peru (Pasco s. to Cuzco).
(7) Se. Peru (Cuzco and n. Puno) and c. Bolivia (La Paz and Cochabamba).
