Range

Ne. and sc. South America;
Two populations:
Ne. Bolivia (Noel Kempff National Park, ne. Santa Cruz) and se. Brazil (Maranhao, Piaui, w. and c. Bahia (Correntina, Mucuge, and Ibicoara), Sao Paulo and s. Mato Grosso). A small isolated population in Surinam.
