Range

C. Amazonian South America;
1) S. of middle reaches of the Amazon in c. Brazil from the Rio Madeira s. to Calama and e. to the Rio Tapajos and its tributaries.
(2) Sc. Brazil from the upper Rio Madeira (s. of Calama) e. to the Mato Grosso in the Rio Xingu drainage and s. to ex. ne. Bolivia (ne. Santa Cruz).
