Caribbean slope of c. Central America to nw. South America;
(1) Se. Mexico (s. Veracruz, n. Oaxaca, Tabasco, Chiapas and the Yucatan Peninsula) s. along the Caribbean slope to e. Nicaragua to e. Costa Rica.
(2) W. Costa Rica and w. Panama.
(3) E. Panama to w. Colombia and nw. Ecuador.
