Ex. s. Central America and n. South America mostly n. of Amazon;
(1) E. Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Trinidad, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana, n. Amazonian Brazil.
(2) W. Amazonia (e. Ecuador and ne. Peru).
(3) E. Colombia.
