Range

Pacific slope of sc. Central America;
Restricted range;
W. Costa Rica from the mouth of the Rio Tarcoles, Parrita, estuary of the Rio Palo Seco and Carara Biological Refuge to ex. w. Panama (Cerro Batipa, Burica Peninsula and s. of town of David). The strongholds are the Golfo Dulce and the Osa Peninsula (Corcovado National Park and estuaries of the Rio Sierpe and Rio Coto) also Golfito, Rincon and Puerto Jimenez.
