C. and s. Central America and nw. South America;
Two populations;
(1) Caribbean slope of ne. Honduras (Olancho), e. Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
(2) Caribbean slope of w. Panama (Bocas del Toro).
(3) E. Panama (Darien) and w. Colombia (Pacific lowlands from the Gulf of Uraba and the upper Sind Valley) and w. Ecuador.
