Range

Nw. Indian Ocean;
Breeding is. poorly known, but are likely to be in the vicinity of the Kuria Muria Is. off the coast of Oman or inland in desert mountains. The first known colony has been found on Socotra Is. in 2003; Pelagic range restricted to nw. Indian Ocean (Arabian Sea) from the Gulf of Aden to the Gulf of Oman s. to the equator (5°S) off the coasts of e. Africa (Somalia, Kenya), the Arabian Peninsula (Yemen, Oman), se. Iran and Pakistan. May possibly occur in the Red Sea as far n. as the Gulf of Aqaba.
