Range

S. Indian Ocean; Ex. sw. Pacific Ocean;
Two widely separated populations;
(1) Heard, Antipodes(?) and Auckland(?) Is.
(2) Bounty Is. and 'pyramidalis' occurs on Chatham Is.(?) (Big and Little Mangere Is. and Pyramid Rock) and possibly Kerguelen.
Disperal patterns unknown, but recorded from se. Australia and South Africa.
