Range
Nearly circumpolar; Se. Pacific Ocean, s. Atlantic Ocean, s. Indian Ocean and ex. sw. Pacific Ocean;
(1) Kerguelen, Crozet and Macquarie Is.
(2) Auckland and Heard Is.
(3) South Shetland, South Orkney, South Sandwich, South Georgia and Antarctica (tip of the Antarctic Peninsula, Cape Denison, Scott Is.).
Disperses in the se. Pacific Ocean n. to Chile and 12°S off Peru, in the sw. Atlantic Ocean s. of 35°S off Argentina, Uruguay and s. Brazil, in the se. Atlantic Ocean to South Africa and Namibia, across the s. Indian Ocean to s. Australia (Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria (Portland), New South Wales (Wollongong), Queensland), Tasmania and New Zealand (North Island and South Island).
