Range

S. Indian Ocean and ex. sw. Pacific Ocean;
(1) Marion, Prince Edward and Crozet Is. (East Is. and Cochons Is.).
(2) St. Paul and Amsterdam Is.
Dispersal pattern is poorly known due to similarity to other prions, but seems to be from se. Africa (South Africa from the Cape of Good Hope to Natal and the Mozambique Channel) across the s. Indian Ocean to s. Australia (Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, s. Western Australia), Tasmania and New Zealand (North Island and South Island).
